Dr. Gregory P. Granger

Dr. Granger is a Professor of History and Political Science at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, where he has taught since 1995. In 1996-97 he was the first recipient of the Clyde Bostick Professorship in Social Science and as such oriented the international relations courses around a common theme of international security and participated in an international seminar in Budapest, Hungary.
He currently teaches Political Science courses in International Relations and U.S. Foreign Policy as well as History courses on Cold War topics such as peacekeeping and nuclear weapons. From 2005 to 2010, Dr. Granger was Director of the School of Social Sciences and is currently the president of the Louisiana Political Science Association. Dr. Granger's research interests include national security policies and international laws on nuclear non-proliferation and arms control in general, as well as international institutions including NATO, the International Criminal Court, and non-state security threats.
In 2010 and 2011, he was Adjunct Instructor with the American Military University where he taught online graduate courses in Strategic Intelligence, Threat Analysis, and National Security Policy.
