Brigadier General Norman H. Andersson, U.S. Army (Retired)

President and CEO

Mr. Andersson is the President and CEO of Veteran Engineering and Technology, a service-disabled veteran owned small business headquartered in Colorado. He has had an extensive career in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve, as well as the defense contracting community where he gained experience with both large and small companies.

During his military career, General Andersson had successful assignments both in the U.S. and overseas, including command of the 1st Mobilization Brigade at Fort Carson. His final military assignment was Deputy Commanding General for Fort Carson and Division West (First Army).

During his civilian career he studied advanced systems with several large corporations and national laboratories that would provide leap ahead technologies for the Army and Air Force. He has also started several small businesses to capitalize on emerging technologies.

He is very active in the not for profit arena and has led several organizations including the Pikes Peak Chapters of the Military Officers Association and the Association of the U.S. Army.

He holds an engineering degree from the U.S. Military Academy and an advanced degree from the University of Utah. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
